Lovely representation of His love in only three words. The artwork is beautiful. Well done! It is hard to say something profound in seven syllable yet. Best of luck in the contest.

Your poem is in excellent 2/4/2 syllable count
good alliteration in resurrected/rejoice
you do a good job of saying something meaningful with the strict length restrictions
I like the celebratory mood

Jesus died for our sins;
A well-written, spiritual poem--a powerful message expressed in so few words;
I like the incorporation of the holy symbol to conclude the poetry--it emphasizes your thoughts, mystery poet.

The 2-4-2 can be quite a challenging task to get the essence stated within the confines - the Christian message is succinctly conveyed here

Very potent 5 words, mystery writer, that I'm sure will appeal to the Christian fraternity.
With respect, and without wishing to sound cynical, I often wonder what he saved us from, and how humanity has improved sinse.
Of course, Jesus was a WONDERFUL man, and his teachings were so profound and kind, but I wonder how come the Church 'hijacked' his simplicity, persecuted and even executed non-believers.
Also, all its preachers, especially the hierarchy, appear to live in comparative luxury, surrounded by priceless ornaments, to those who they preach TO - the OPPOSITE of Jesus's simple existence.
The Church also has enormous financial assets - why not distribute them to the needy?
OK, that's MY 'sermon' over. :-)
Best wishes to you, and the upmost respect for GOOD kind Christians, atheists and followers of other religions, everywhere. Ray.

Is that all you have to say after I put so much thought into my review, whether you agree with my respectful comments/questions or not?
I'll check out your identity after the contest is complete, and not waste either of our times again.
All the best to you, Ray.

Sorry, Ray, I was being pulled in another direction as I was humbly trying to respond. It wasn't you, my dear friend, it was someone here, nagging in my ear.
I always appreciate your responses and replies. And once you know who I am, you will understand that (I hope)
and be well.
Thanks for your review. It is appreciated.

I'm sorry I was so rude, and you're obviously a nice person to reply with these words.
I just thought you were being curt with a one word reply and sort of insulting my views with a 'whatever'. :-)
I sometimes get behind myself on here and cut n past a few word replies, as otherwise we'd go crazy trying to keep up.
My apologies.
Ray xx

Hey, no apologigies necessary, my friend. I too feel slighted when I get such a curt response. But, it wasn't anything you said, honestly. I hold the highest regard for the beliefs of anyone, and respect them for standing up for what they believe. That takes great character.
It's me who should apologize. It was just her incessant yelling at me for being on the website again that got me so pissed. Nothing you said or did.
Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate that.
-
Oh, I almost forgot. Congrats on placing second in the Faith Poetry Contest. Good work!

Thanks again, my friend. Though I haven't got around to replying, I just noticed your PM in my inbox, so I know who you are.
Hey, women just can't seem to get their priorities right. LOL
Cheers, Ray
