I enjoyed reading your short story.
It flowed nicely and was easy to read.
May your weekend be wonder filled. Blessings, Patricia

Life is indeed to short to drink bad wine! I love wine, but only sweet wine :)
I enjoyed reading your poem although it was more like an awesome short story.
The flow was nice and it was easy to follow.
Great job as always

I love the metaphor, although I don't like wine, it is still a good one. This is very well written.
Have a great day.

You are so right, now that sounds like a country music song. Not too heavy but definitely a tear in your beer type of song. I'm really beginning to enjoy your work.

From line one, we learn that our songster is a philosopher and his source of inspiration is Dionysus. We then learn that the center of our subterranean culture is the pub, no more, no less, to be shared with other bar-flies but our poet is immune because he is a romantic and he has his own muse. Nice work!

I love the artwork you choose for your poem.
It is a perfect match.
You had my attention from the start especial when you came to the gal name Diane. That was my daughters name, that's made me smile.

Hi. I enjoyed these lyrics. I liked the use of imagery and the wee story within.
I am a little rusty at reviewing so can't say I am good looking for SPAG, sorry.
thanks,

I love this poem! It would sound great set to some music, it'd make an awesome country song. It flowed very well and kept my interest the whole way through. Thank you so much for sharing it.

Lost love, loneliness, and alcohol the classic themes of country music. The story told is an interesting, philosophizing about life through various types of alcohol. Interesting to the least. Since this the second poem of your I have read tonight, and the second one to reveal definite musical qualities, I am wondering if you have recorded either of them. I am curious to know how they sound with the addition of music. Good one...

The artwork really does go well with the poem. It almost seems to have been painted for your lyrics. They were enjoyable and fun in spite of the seriousness of his losses. Hope he finds those grapes he's looking for!
You're right, life's too short for bad wine. Let pour the good stuff!
