You three disappoint me greatly - I had no idea this was a time-limited column here. I love this, and I think you should re-consider. Unless of course you can't, in which case, I think you should say why you won't continue it. I NEED to know. (LOL)
That said, once again, this is pure entertainment and so easy to read, it's ended before I've had a chance to even think about the answer I'd give these contributors.

I'm going to try marketing this to some newspapers. Have no idea what's involved in getting their attention, but nothing ventured...There are a few purists who think I am polluting this 'literary' site. Normally that would be enough to rev up my engines, but I can't be bothered. Better to quit while we still have some readers. This week is half the response of last week, so...
-
Oh, losing some is normal, isn't it? Next week could surprise you. If it's a matter of not enough time to market it AND continue, I could see it. But if you're writing it anyway, you three...well, I guess there's all the time it takes to promote it too (by reviewing). That's a HUGE investment, at least for me. (I'm slow.)

I enjoyed reading the questions and answers in this write-up. However, I think, it is a little bit of time-sacrifice on the part of the Amigas. If they enjoy answering, and there will be a lot of questions and problems asks, it will be well and good. However, I believe the three Amigas, have a lot of things to do also, not only in their own writings which we may learn, too, and appreciate and marvel over their own talents. I would learn more. For indeed, assorting, reading, compiling, analyzing letters from people of diverse opinions and cultures are relatively extensive and time consuming. Are they willing to do that? Appreciation alone without compensation is a sacrifice (from my own view point). They deserve more unless, they are FORDS or anybody else or Tycoons
in the business world. Having said this, I do not mean to talk purely about finances, for indeed, one that makes a writer or writers happy is the result and appreciation they get from the audience. I have great respect and admiration for writers, and I prefer to learn more from their talents by their (writing) articles, stories, poems...that make the reader awe. That to me is also important. I rate this article six on the basis of the expertise presented. But I still also wanted to know who, the LIBRARIAN is. My sincerest congratulations.

Dom, it is my intent to pitch this to some newspapers, but it becomes tiresome to regular site member. In fact, some find it offensive, suggesting this is some writing blasphemy, and not the purpose of the site. We've had some very good feedback and I hope to take it somewhere. Thanks for the stars.

I hear what you are saying. Thank you.

I find this to be very entertaining with sage advice on all the letters. It does indeed show three different points of view and a person can select the one he/she finds to be the solution for their problem. Well done. Why won't the Librarian fess -up? What's to hide? :<) Nancy

Thank you for your interest, reading and responding. The Librarian is not a member of this site and even if she allowed identification, it would be meaningless to members.

I think this one is the best so far. Our answers were similar but still from different perspectives. I do think the three opinions is a great idea and hope we have luck finding a home for this idea that agrees with us.

Me too hun, but you are relegated to research, finding the newspaper, editors name and E-mail address for the newspaper in Mexico. I'll write the letter.

I start working on it today and send you the info as soon as I can.

Thanks for such solid advice and a range of advice. I really think you guys could make your goal of publishing in the three country newspapers...the advice is really good and entertaining...I will miss this series when you drop it from FS.

All questions submitted were answered after a lot of thought, taking into full consideration our personal life experiences. Thanks for the stars and may your path be cushioned by knowing you already have the answers.

I was surprised to read where you will be wrapping this up by the end of March. Hopefully, this means that you feel it has been a successful trial and you are ready to submit it for consideration of publication. Nice work.

The old adage, shit or get off the pot applies. There really is nothing special about people offering opinions except for one minor thing--most people don't listen to anyone else except their own mindset. In an anonymous sprinkling of truth, perhaps someone's reason may resonate. It's time to step back and step up to see if the same truth holds true in the general population.

1) I think the daughter will find the book no matter what name you publish it under. Be real with her, depending on her age tell her things as they come up in her life. When she gets old enough you can give her a copy of your book or let her barrow yours. Give her guidelines that you want her to remember: Don't pick sides. Don't judge me. I've made mistakes just like you. We're all human. No matter what I will always love you. It will bring you closer. I also have to be careful when I publish my book but I'm trying to leave all names out and just trying to connect with my audience which will most likely be the abused. It's a hard thing to do.
2) Not sure on dating sites as I've never used them. I met the man of my dreams at work. We didn't do the three date rule before sex, we waited a while after that still. I liked the line when you know you're ready it's time. It's true. When it's time it's time and the condom thing was also good advice. My advice is not to rush it. Don't go pick a man/woman up just for a relationship. Be their friend and if things happen they happen. But you can't rush it
3) I have no advice on this as my parents aren't there yet. Sorry :(
Wrapping up the end of March? What? My little heart is breaking. I never know how to actually review these but I can assure you I'm going to miss them. Can we negotiate? Draw up a new contract for you three ladies? What can us readers do to stop this from happening?

The best thing about your answer is the thought process, the way you can apply questions and answers to your own life. Very cool.

You have chosen a winning path by keeping your participants in various scenarios. Your answers are straight forward and seems to be honest. This is well written.

I like the variety in the situations you analyze this week. For me, that makes this one of your most interesting columns. You appeal to three district demographics--aspiring writers, dating scene returnees, and children of aging parents. I find relevance for myself in two of those three, and I think your reading audience at large will also be more likely to find something here for them.

This is excellent. Great advice. I love the different and sometimes similar perspectives of Tres Amigas. It is like having three best friends. I will miss this column when it closes in March. Thank you. I wish you column success.
