Sooo many clever lines in this one. I can't even pick out a favorite although I loved S2 - and 4, 5 and 6. I'd like to know what you consider "cauldron essentials" because I think I might have most of them at my house!

Oh, so you have some eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog in your pantry - remind me never to come for dinner!
Thanks for the great review and the six stars.

So charming! I actually read it out loud the second time, just for the fun of trying to wrap my tongue around all the alliteration. Couldn't do that well! This is such a fun, fancy-free romp. Alas, I'm out of six stars....

Thanks for the warm review and the virtual six - yes, it need more than a little practice to read this aloud - let's hope nobody ever asks me to perform it!

This is a funny poem my friend. I liked the made up words and found the tongue twisters both funny and fun to do. I do hope you do well in this up and coming contest and thank you for sharing.

Well done, and good luck in the competition.

Great write, great read and great language used in this children's poem. Very imaginative and well crafted. I wish you luck in the contest,
because I'm a big kid and I enjoyed the magic and the fairies and there friends.

This is tremendous in its use of wordplay and sound device. I'll bet a kids' book illustrator would love to have this for a storyboard project. I would enumerate the parts that I like for you, but there are simply too many. Congratulations on achieving such a masterpiece of verbal agility and memorable characters. My only suggestion is to check spelling of phantasmagorical.

Thanks, Debbie.
There are four Gobbledegooks poems now and my hope is to get them to a publisher this year - let's hope they can find a really clever illustrator.

A very fun poem to read with all of the words that sound alike, whatever that is called. As you say,"Try saying that thrice and your tongue'll go gnarly". Lots of T's and Tutu-loo to you.

Looks like a classical kid's poem to me, the alliteration is staggeringly good, the imaginative names are great, the rhythm and flow are very good, and the aabb couplet rhyming is also good, it must rank as an exceptional chance of taking out the prize to me, well done, blessings, Roy.

Thanks, Roy - I had fun writing this.
Alas, second place was the best I could manage on this occasion.

What a delightful story not only in meter and flow but in the story as well. The characters are whimsical and my attention was kept from the begin. You are a professional.
