I enjoyed the before and after pictures and am glad Smokey can see clearly again. He is such a cutie and I can see why you find him beautiful. Cheers- Joan

That's a good and best reason to have Smokey's hair cut....seeing is very
important for a dog...just like humans! Besides he looks great...like a
star...and bet he feels better too...blessings, Ronni

Oh Yeah, He looks a lot better in the after photo. What a cute dog. I had one like him in the 80's and he was gray too. His name was Tuffy and he was sharp as a tack.Very nice Ine.xxx Nancy

He looks like a completely different dog in that second photo, Ine. He's a cute little fella, that's for sure. He looks a lot happier in the second picture than he does in the first as well. Well, carrying around all of that extra hair, he was probably exhausted, lol.
Good update...

This dog gets more press than the Kardashians. He does clean up pretty well. It's like changing out the raggedy head of your swab mop for a brand new one.

Yes, Smokey looks very handsome now, and I am sure he smells cleaner too. Long-haired dogs are in constant need of grooming. He's a cute looking little fellow!

He looks so much better what a suave dude he is now.
My daughter had a chicken with a pom-poem feathered head she was nearly taken by a hawk. ( bantam yow chicken as mall as a large dove )
It was so amusing my daughter cut a fringe into the feathers at the front so that the chicken could a hawk coming. Sorry you just triggered a memory but an amusing one.

Hi Ine. Smokey looks so cute now his hair has been cut. Anyway he can see again. My mother used to have a little yorkshire terrier with the same problem.
Love the pictures you made of him. Fia

What a sweety. Glad he was well-behaved at the grooming parlor. They're such beautiful dogs, but they do require a lot of grooming to keep the hair out of their eyes, as you say. He surely appreciates being able to see again! Well stated. judi

Smiles Robina,
such good work with the photos of your cute dog Smokey and I had fun seeing his hair being clipped from his eyes.
