Hi Bret,
So this was an actual nightmare. When I was just a little tyke I had them almost every night. Actually I was scared to go to sleep. Now, as an old lady, I don't get them anymore and am I ever happy about that. You did a great job in writing this.

This sounds like the creature features so popular back in the 1950s. Giant creatures of all sorts threatened the planet, and I shivered in my movie theater seat. Those super bugs really are super in every way, all lab created. I've heard that cockroaches will be the survivors. Your story shows them in action. I hate bugs of all kinds, especially the cockroaches of Texas. We had to clear out the cabinets periodically so the exterminators could come in and make sure we were free of the pests. Your creatures are certainly successful in bringing destruction. It's a doomsday scenario, as it was in many of the creature movies. Great story. judi

I freak out at the smallest bug, I would faint at the thought of these super bugs coming toward me, i'd be dead of a heart attack before they reach me. now i'll look both ways when I go outside lol

This was an actual nightmare I had a week or so ago. I hate roaches to begin with, but to think they are on a quest for world dominance? That would be an even worse nightmare. Appreciate your comments and support as always.

Hi Brett,
I think this is my favourite one of these stories so far. The first roach perspective works well. A warning and a challenge.
Nice one
observe the affects - effects I think here.
I have the bugle sounded - this phrase seems out of place for the mutated cockroaches

No. I have not even written this thing yet and FanStory posted it. Glitch in the system. I do ask you to read the story some time today as I will have it posted. Would also appreciate your review once it is and you do.

I will keep an eye for it Brett. No worries.

Story posted. Enjoy.

The picture is extremely creepy, but there is very little content except for a long series of X's across the entire page.
You might want to check and see what's up with your post. Let me know and I'll return and submit a better review.

Addition after the glitch was fixed:
Fine story, Brett. We better be careful with our atomic waste.
Five feet long with fifty pairs of legs? Holey-moley that's what I call a BUG.
I like it being told by the leader in first person. It makes it more personal, especially when he gets to the end and asks 'who's next?'.
Suggestions:
-or even slow our advances down. (slow down our advances. -- keep the descriptor in tact.)
-I am also the most blood-thirstiest(thirsty) of the whole lot [of us]
-the ease with which we pick their bones clean.(Shouldn't they eat humans bones and all, since they eat rocks with little effort?)
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

No problem. Maybe you can add something to the current post's empty page, saying just what you've told me.
I will definitely remember to come back to read and review. (I just put a note on my desktop.)

Thank you. I'm on it.
