Man, this is a tough prompt. I think you have something here, G, but I'd dump 'world-weary'. Wise men will wince, world-weary, or not. Substitute 'writhe' for 'wince', and you have a different ballgame.
Peace, Lee

My friend, you have come up with the perfect quote here. It is easy to remember, and it's true... You have a very good head on your shoulders. Other women will love this too. I can't say that about the other men, but to me (a man), it is genius. Great job, my friend. Best wishes.
Always with respect,

This is an interesting quotable quote, written in alliterative form. Your notes are humorous, being also alliterative ("he he he he he he.") Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

giraffmang; you must know some woman who whine. Maybe, they want attention from the worldly wise-men. I knew men who put me in fifth place after their house, car, health club and guy time. Ok, I'm not whining. Just choice not to be used and flew away from their attitude. I'm grateful that I stood up for myself. I like your wisdom quote. Maybe, you have a different reason for writing this from a guy's point of view. Happy Thanksgiving!

Gareth--
Your entry here's better that the other one I read. Much more memorable quote. Stupid me looks for more to read.
Yeah, part of me agrees. Like the whine-wince thing.
Thanks. I have no sixes of course.

Well, let me see: "When women whine, world-weary wise-men wince." Yes, I'm struggling to make it qualify as "helpful". Having been married for 46 years, I have to agree with your astute assessment.

Good thing you're not here, you'd hear a woman whining right this minute ;)
Clearly tongue in cheek, I mean wise-men?
HAHA!
Not going to let my husband see this one.

Man and women do love to poke fun at each other, but we wouldn't be without the other half of the world's population, would we.
Excellent alliteration with all those "w's" and you have quite a clever catch phrase here. It should be a contender. Good luck in the contest.

When men wine, women whine. Not alliteration, but an answer to the meaning of your alliterate illiterate-ation ... (to coin a compound word).
Here is an excerpt from an past poem of mine titled "The Resurrection of Sam McGee"
Illy illuminated alliteration instills illusion allowing appearance of apoplectic aphorisms and abundant abusive abominable abominations aptly approximated Above

I must admit G, you're absolutely spot on with this very thoughtful and expressively correct projection of male reactions to women whining, of whinging, or nagging, or flapping their lips and wiggling their, gums, all adds up to the same thing, well done, good luck, great quote, blessings, Roy
