Michael you rebel! No I wouldn't dream of subjectin' you to a mutin' simply for disobeying two rules (the one about 8 syllables and the one about the rhyme scheme). I disagree with the first rule anyway as it is a French form and no metrical or syllabic requirements should be stipulated; anyway I love all those feminine endings. Your ignoring the second rule, the rhyme scheme, which requires only two rhymes has, in this instance of fracture, made it more difficult having only one rhyme.
That lovely old Irish wish about the road rising up to meet you has come true; it did when you fell flat on your face, but in such a fun way, that one hardly notices the repeats, that you can keep all five stars that you saw when you tripped.
Rules were made for the obedience of fools etc.

Ohhh, poor Mikey. He's sick! So I'll give you liberties on content. You were probably out of your mind with fever! Bless your heart. Do you need some chicken soup? A sharp razor?

Even with your illness you are still one of the best writers on FanStory. I enjoyed reading and even got a smile from your poem.

All the five stars first and foremost for making me holler with laughter on this rather bleak Sunday here in Bavaria (Germany). How I love those two bromancers!

Excellent. Made me giggle. ThoughI wouldn't know a triolet from a violet, it had a great rhythym to it, with some delicious words in it. 'Bromancin'' - love it.
Get well soon

I hope you will feel better soon, extra points for trying even you don't feel well. Sometimes it is fun to think outside the box, even if you fear some people might mute you.

Hi Mikey,
I thought you were getting well. (I hope you are feeling better soon!) However, if you can be this entertaining in a feverish delirium, no wonder you are so brilliant when you are at the top of your game. I'm sure many readers will find a chuckle here. Thanks for joining us in Potlatch! We love it when you participate! (Are you ready to take back the reins yet?) ;)

Potlatch challenges haven't appealed to me for participation. My muse is a loner but I like your satire in this one. What a lunatic we have for a president. I had great concerns in the 60's but I've never felt America was more threatened than now.

HI! Nice to hear from you.
Yes, for all the passion and heart I poured into my beliefs and fears back in the day, I never felt like the country or the world for that matter was in the kind of danger it is now. We agree. I'm hoping it's more than a minority view. :)) mikey

haha what a fun poem done in your usual style. I like the sarcastic implications. Your presentation is super--the color scheme, the picture, the rhyme/flow all work together to create a memorable poem.
Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

Haha good one. I still think we are on opposite sides from memory. Apart from the equator hehe. I like Donald Trump and I think he is gonna improve things in USA. I hope you are not disappointed the BO is gone. Just hoping all the lefties that promised they would move out are gonna do it. Great rave mate.

Yeah, I'm probably a little on the other side of the line, but not toooooo far over that we can't shake hands. LOL
I don't see anyone leaving. HAHAHA! There's worse places, yes?
I hope this flu gets gone so I can get back in the swing. Your biography is looking better and better. Almost there, yes? mikey
