I enjoyed reading your Acrostic poem " Lewis Carroll" and his Alice adventures. You had all your lines correct. Lewis Carroll was one of the all time greats for children.
Best of luck.

I could never get into the Alice in wonderland story not sure what it was but it's never appealed, but creative, imaginative it certainly was. Maybe it was the being beneath the ground that got to me, perhaps I should try it again, one day.
cheers,

Hi Valda,
Maybe try listening to bits of it, I'm sure you could find it online. Try You Tube, that is where I found the Jabberwocky. It may be easier to listen to than to actually read. Thanks for taking the time to read and review.

I am a fan of Lewis Carroll and was not aware he was also a poet. You continually teach me something new. I love your acrostic and even more with the rhyme. You are so very talented and I always enjoy reading your posts.

Hi! What wonderful compliments. I hope you enjoyed the Jabberwocky video. It is one of his most famous poems. (Contained in Through the Looking Glass.) Thank you for taking the time to read and review. I'm so happy that you are along for this ride. :)

This is a wonderfully written rhyming acrostic using Lewis Carroll's name. The first two books you have mentioned, "Alice" and "Looking" are most known. I enjoyed the author's note telling more about his life. An interesting man. Marilyn

Perhaps that door I'd better shut

I love the rhymes you have managed to weave into your acrostic. With the above I realised that whether the rhyme scheme went aaba or aabb I was in a hole so decided to stop digging.

Hi Pantygynt:
You just might find Alice if you fall down... or more likely, the Mad Hatter lol I think the White Rabbit left with Easter. Thank you for a fun review. You've made me smile. :)

thank you for sharing your acrostic poem and informative author's notes about Lewis Carroll. He certainly gave us a glimpse into another world with his tale about Alice. I often wonder how he came up with these whimsical characters, but then I hear myself telling my granddaughter a story, and I smile to myself. Its so easy to be creative when you have a sponge in front of you,

Hi Patty,
He seemed to have an incredible way with children, I think because they didn't judge him. They say he stuttered and that gave him trouble in preaching (he was ordained, but didn't preach) and in lecturing (for obvious reasons. But with the children, he didn't have that problem when he told his tales. Thanks for the great review.
