Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Exceptional sonnet, Craig. What is going on in the stock market is a bank robbery in broad daylight. At least in my humble opinion.

Superb iambic pentameter and good rhymes too. I'm even taking into account Aussie pronunciations.

Only one point you have spelled bottle conjurer two different ways and you know how I get confused by things like that. lol.

Great job! I look forward to your sonnet contest entry.

Gloria

Thank you for the wonderful review, Gloria. I'm glad you said "Aussie pronunciations", not "accents" - because, as everyone knows, Aussies don't have accents ;-)

One of us might have had an extra drink or two, as I can't for the life of me find more than one spelling. I use the word in only one place (line 2), and it's spelled the same as in the title? However, I note you use the alternate spelling. I believe both are acceptable.

    Many thanks again,
    Craig

Check your author notes. No, we Canadians don't have accents either, but we do accessorize when called upon to do so.

Ah, the author notes! I didn't think to look there...

Very grateful, dear Gloria. It looks like I'll have to share my American Honey (that's a drink, btw) with you :)

I've had American Honey. Not to my taste as I like Canadian. That's a Canadian beer. I look at everything on posts. Category, date, subtitle, title, post and author notes. Just a heads up. lol
