Hi Craig
Great opening with all those alliterations. Whole sentences bravo!
I could see this as a picture book lol yeah maybe not so much for kids in the present state but yeah big colorful pictures and thick cardboard so you could turn the pages as many times as you wanted to.
I liked it. So many fabulous alliterations and descriptive text.

Thanks, Kiwi :) It might take a little work before getting a PG rating, but probably could be done. Cheers, Craig

A good example of how voice pacing and stress can overcome metrical inconsistencies. Much more interesting to read when a change of meter guides the expressiveness of a piece of writing. Your comic use of alliteration much appreciated. I also liked the way you delivered 'manubiary' as a coup de grace at the end.

Thanks very much for the lovely comments, Tony. I'm glad it seems to come across ok in spite of changing meter. Cheers, Craig

I'd does indeed read just fine, read aloud.
Really liked this, great fun poem, and would serve as an excellent educational tool in teaching alliteration.
No improvements to suggest, this was very, very good, great job.
Take care.
