Very well done acrostic with messages that need to be heard but no one listens to.

Well your poem is less than optimistic? But I suppose there is some sarcasm here in your words, I love that word, Tapleyism! Must commit that to memory. Of course Dickens was responsible for Dickensian which means 'in Dickens times' and usually referred to something antiquated, old fashioned and of no use. In Victorian times people had a lot of optimism, as you say in the most appalling conditions too. If only we could learn from this, great work as always, a well thought out Acrostic and it's a pity it is not in a contest, love Dolly x

    I was more pointing to the irrational (well, in my opinion) optimism we seem to have that we can keep doing whatever we like to the planet and everything will somehow magically be ok :) Thanks for the kind and supportive comments, Dolly - much appreciated. Cheers, Craig
