LOL !! I should not laugh, I have been stung many times over the years, my first time being five years old. I got mad at the bee and then it hurt and then I cried. I was lucky not to have a reaction. However, my sister is not so lucky, she is anaphylactic to bee stings. She carries medication always. Nasty bees for stinging. Sherman541

Yes, I probably should do that too (I really am allergic), I've thought about it many times. I've only been stung on the foot (several times), which is bad enough, but a sting in the wrong place could finish me off lol. Thanks for reviewing :) Craig

You are more than welcome ! Yes, you should get an Epipen I believe they call them:) I am supposed to carry one too, but have not for several years. Mine is a reaction to medications I need two bracelets or necklaces to list all of the allergies, mostly only a 3 things are not, antibiotics. - Get a pen, if you never use it great, but if you ever need it you got it :)
EpiPen is an injection containing epinephrine, a chemical that narrows blood vessels and opens airways in the lungs. These effects can reverse severe low blood pressure, wheezing, severe skin itching, hives, and other symptoms of an allergic reaction.

A very ambitious, and impressive limerick.
I congratulate you on your adventurous choice of rhymes.
I suspect the rhymes came first, the limerick followed.
But I could be wrong. When it comes to limericks,
I often come across three unsuspecting rhymes,
then weave a limerick around them.
In any case, well done.
Peace, Lee

You're pretty right in your assessment, Lee. Probiscis / Hibiscus came first, then it was a matter of "what the hell is going to rhyme with that?" Of course, it all had to fit in with the key word - something grotesquely oversized, so I guess that's where the theme came from. Many thanks for the great review - Craig

What clever rhymes~! What an interesting word. I'm enjoying your series, dear Craig, learning new (old) vocabulary is fun!
Good flow, Great rhymes. Great phonetics, especially consonant B and P sounds (cousins) plus alliteraiton of P and F and A and S, plus clever slant rhymes of fix this with proboscis and hibiscus.
Chuckling,

Thanks very much for the lovely review, RD. In truth, I really am extremely allergic to bee venom, so if the story were true, the language would be real, and you would probably hear it where you are. And that would probably be the last you ever heard from me lol
Much appreciated - Craig

Hope you never get stung!
