A fun Limerick and this is an usual word, I have heard of 'gallows bird', but not crack-halter, and some do end murdering their spouse! But not sent to the gallows these days, love Dolly x

Hello, my word for the day, crack-halter, and I love the author notes, too, a 'gallows bird'. What a descriptive way of saying 'hanging'. The poem is good and I love the idea behind the writing, introducing your readers to all these new words. I imagine there would be a market for this book of poems you're compiling as the idea is quite unique. I saw no errors and thanks for sharing, Ana.

Hi Ana, thanks for the lovely comments. I did toy with the idea at the outset that this could be a book for publication. But I've found that the mere fact of having to produce a poem a day, and also the strangeness of some of the words, means the result (like today's effort), might be sometimes be ok, but it's not exactly "fine art". Still it's all good practice, and there might well be a few pieces come out of the process that have some potential :)
