Hello to you
I have been reading on and off all morning and this is the first piece that raised a laugh!
Very good work and a natty limerick too.
Enjoy your writing: I do!
cheers

Hello, I could so relate to this one. They just come out of the blue behind you, and one night coming back from Sydney out in the middle of nowhere and then the flashing lights and you know you've been busted. It's a horrible feeling. I wanted to beat myself up, LOL
Those damn esclop, heh hehe. I liked the picture, too. Very appropriate, and of course, if you are drink driving, it should be more serious, but not for the cheeky tea totaling poet. Nicely written, a bit of fun, cheers, Ana.

I don't drink and drive. I can only do one at a time:). Nice poem. Well at least you don't get a beat-down. Thanks for sharing and keep writing and reading.

It's just as well they have the internet in Her Majesty's Hotel - otherwise how could I post my daily bit of nonsense? Many thanks - Craig

A very well-written Limerick. When we are pulled off by a traffic officer, we are so nervous we say all the wrong things we should not have said and just make things worse than it may have been.

Thanks, Sandra. Yes, better when we are pulled over to say as little as possible, and try to manage a genuine looking smile :) Cheers, Craig
