Great poem, Lawrence.. I mean, Craig. I like your use of rhyme, and the phrase "the landscape sears." Makes me think of a delicious steak - although I'm sure that wasn't your desired intention. :)

Making people think of steak is never my intention, Robbie - as you'll discover if you can hang in long enough to read a few more of my poems LOL Most grateful - Craig
