Good read, educational, well presented, this poem is special and inspirational, it has great philosophy, love beaming through, creative way of thinking, creative use of words, good colour combination writing and image, well balanced.

Hey, I just found this stunningly wonderful sonnet, Mav.
This is perfectly written with lovely imagery, metre and rhymes and of the subject that would make the Bard himself swoon with envy wishing he'd been the author of such a masterpiece.
Exceptional and a top contender for this prestigious sonnet contest.

What a lovely, romantic poem. You have a wonderful vocabulary that you use beautifully in your rhymes. I was especially taken by your rhyming "acquiescence" with "adolescence." (I'm only sorry I hadn't thought of it first.) This was a very enjoyable read, and I wish you luck in the contest.

What a luminous image. I love that her back is away from us. You use language well. It indeed has a quality reminiscent of Shakespeare's sonnets. It is lush and full bodied like a good wine!

I'm hypnotized with emerald acquiescence,
entwinning sapphires spinning as they glow.
My tongue is tied so like my adolescence;
I'm dancing in a sea of indigo.
Wow mick I love this verse. Even though I had to get out the dictionary to suffice my ignorance of the meaning of a couple of words (which fitted perfectly)
what I like about sonnet writing is the flow they create. Dolly writes a wonderful sonnet as well. Thanks for sharing
