I never thought this was about your marriage. I enjoyed reading this, Craig. Your chosen word for this poem works perfectly. Good job on the rhyme & the way the story seems to have 3 parts. 'Paction' reminds me of 'pact' that one would make with another. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Great picture, too. Jan

    Thanks very much Jan. I think you're right - "paction" is probably an obsolete or obscure form of the word "pact". Most grateful -- Craig

Ha, cute one, Craig. Of course we know this is a fiction poem, even though the word paction for some strange reason reminds me of the dentist and her sadistic dental hygienist. LOL.

But of course now I can see that doesn't really work, but still.

Great job and an enjoyable read. :)
