Very funny. And jeopard totally new to me. The arrogance and irony of the Dave is very amusing. Excellent pace and rhyming. I wonder in the leopard's name was goliath and he reversed the tale! Hugh

Thanks very much, Hugh. I certainly don't think we could call our leopard friend a Philistine. Cheers, Craig

Super limerick using your new word, "jeopard." Written very well and illustrated perfectly with the kitty eating her dinner. Rhyming, cadence, and flow are great. Marilyn

I have no idea why I like this poem. It is sad and the picture is disturbing, but I do because I guess it speaks of reality and the true word. Thank you for disturbing my mind. Truly, good poem.

I'm sorry if I cause a few unsavory images. Still, your day wasn't nearly as bad as Dave's :) Many thanks for the kind comments, Craig

Well, anyone stupid enough to take on a leopard is well, stupid. Good job, Craig. Your limerick is in good form. I like how you ended with your word for the day--clever--Dave? not so much. Your picture is a great pairing with your words--unfortunately for dumba** Dave. Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

Dave certainly takes out the Darwin award for the month, I would think. Have you heard of those? Many thanks, Jan :) Cheers, Craig

Oh, well, they were instigated a while ago. Someone wrote a book creating an award for people who, by committing really stupid acts, managed to get themselves killed, thus removing their DNA from the gene pool (hence the name). I have one copy of the book, but I believe it's updated from time time time with new tales of stupidity. I think Dave certainly qualifies.
