LOL fortunately, the only damage to my hip took place in my imagination. Thanks so much, Mary, for the wonderful rating and lovely comments :)

My mother fell and broke her hip in 2/2017. Very young, but oh so fragile, she rallied back rather quickly for someone so frail. To this day, she still causes me consternation, LOL.
What a solid, short write, CD. I found no errors. I'm not used to so many writers being from overseas. I want to edit what are seeming misspellings, but alas, they are not misspellings after all (traveler-stateside/traveller-across the pond, LOL)
I am now careful to look to where the writer hails from...haha :)
Image, content, and insight are all spot on. I love learning from you and your linguistic gift ... thank you for that.

LOL yes, Janelle, it does pay us to remember that spelling, grammar and even sayings are different in other places. Sometimes, I adjust my spelling, knowing where at least half the readers will be -- for example, I almost always write "jail", not "gaol", as I assume many readers would think that was an incorrect spelling of "goal" lol
Loved the comments, thanks very much for reviewing.

Haha yes what a kerfuffle you must have caused the crew.
No look, with respect I think you would have given them quite the headache at boarding time.
You certainly make me think you've breathed life back into the meaning "Watch your step" and "It's Hip to be Square"
I loved the jiggety jig of this slightly extended limerick.
Pacy and quite enthusiastic right up until you lost your footing and shattered your hip bone.
Geez, you're a right pain in the arse LOL
With that said, I hope you got a refund on your perfretation gone awry LMAO
Loved this. Sixer for your piece of marvellousness.
Hip, hip hoor---er, no...okay.
I'll come visit you in the hospital LOL

I most certainly did not try to lay the blame for my clumsiness on the Carnival Line. That would be... wait for it...
hipocritical!
(I'm at the Comedy Store, Thursday nights).
When you come visit, could you smuggle in a stuffed Teddy? I get lonely in my private room (not bad for a public patient, eh?) Stuffed with American Honey bourbon would be just perfect.
Thanks so much for the fun review, and lovely shiny stars, which I am hanging off my IV drip as we speak :)

And you a hospital stay with rehab!! :) ;) Love it -- but, of course, you know I have to love it because it's a limerick!! :) Know I've said it before, but they are the perfect tools for teaching "memory" stuff! :)
Thanks for sharing, sir!! :) ;)

I would say so there should be consternation over the coming lawsuit...if it happened in the US, that is. What a curious word. I would have assumed the meaning to be more like what it felt after falling not crossing seas.

You bet there'll be a lawsuit. I had a McDonald's coffee in my hand as I fell. 7th degree burns to 140% of my body!
Yes, your meaning seems to make more sense.
Many thanks, Helen :)
