Gorgeous photo and it does spark our imaginations about all that could be out there among all those possible world. You covered both possibilities in your poem. It got me thinking about Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
That word (aerogram) always reminds me of those thin blue paper sheets which I used to write to my grandmother in Korea.

Cool a rhyming poem telling me im going to wind up on an aliens supper table. Somebody wrote another poem or short story similar to this where humans were livestock to be butchered. Nice job.

Interesting. I never knew the derivation of the word 'aerogram' despite having communicated with family and friends that way for years and years. Much of my childhood was spent in England when my parents lived in Singapore, so the weekly aerogram was an established routine.
