You have a fine and fantastic hat; you are happy even if it is not too costly, yes, it is cheap, you enjoy wearing it; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Thanks very much. Yes, I have a couple of hats, but the fun one is also the cheap one. Cheers, Craig

I love the rhythm and rhyme of this piece. Those first two lines in particular are just so appealing. They sound like verses from stories that I read to my grandchildren. You should write children's books. That never occurred to me until just now. Have you read the "Llama, llama red pajama" books? They are the rage right now. That's what you write like. Awesome. No wonder I like your stuff. I love llama llama.

No, I haven't. I don't have any grandchildren at the moment to get me back into kid's books. I will have to see if I can find something from one of these "Llama" books, my curiosity is now piqued :) Thanks, Debbie, for the lovely comments. Craig

They are by ANNA DEWDNEY. My favorite is Llama Llama Red Pajama. But then there is Llama Llama Holiday Drama and so many more. Stop by a book store. Act like you are going to buy it. Takes 3 minutes to read it. The illustrations are as charming as the words.
    You could do this, Craig.

There are actually YouTube clips of Anna reading her Llama books, showing the illustrations. I've checked out the Red Pajama clip... cute :)

Simple and cute. Bouncy and fun. Fine flow and rhymes. Not your best poem, but certainly a fine limerick. Favorite lines:

So be nice, I bid

to my much-loved lid,

Hee hee.

Warmly, rd

I'm not feeling especially like putting in my "best" effort right at the minute, RD. There seems little point, sometimes. I've got 60 or so of these little ditties to go, and lots of other stuff to attend to. Hopefully some will be worth reading. I do appreciate your time to review, and the kind comments :)

Absolutely. some of them are superb. All of them are entertaining and well penned. It's a great muse-ercise. I admire your tenacity with this!

After that long essay, my muse is now on holiday...

    Warmly,

This is a fun limerick in good limerick form, Craig. I enjoyed reading it. I have never heard of this term. Your words/notes were well-chosen to add info/context to help figure it out. Who am I kidding. Never heard of this and would not have known it if not for your notes. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Like most of the terms in the book, I'd never heard of it either, Jan. Many thanks :) Craig
