Hi, Craig,
I can see how the road to hell would start at the polling booth. I think it is more about the actions of the folks who vote and walk around like they did more than their civic duty - they won the election!
An entertaining little piece to introduce this new word, 'indagation.'

At the very least, a case of shared responsibility (or irresponsibility). Many thanks, Patty.

Oh, I'm so glad I have been able to read another one of your now-famous poems using obscure words. This has been a fun thing to do 5hroughout this year and I certainly hope you continue throughout next year too. All the best.

Many thanks for the very kind words. I won't be continuing next year, I need a break! (Also, I'll have run out of words). Still, it's been an interesting, and I hope, worthwhile challenge. Most grateful, Craig

-A good image, Craig.
-Thanks for sharing another
word of the day, and the
example by Lewis Carroll.
-I like the imagery in line
one and the alliteration with 'w' words.
-Good use of the word in line two.
-I think, overall, we did well at the
polls, especially in the House.
-Hopefully, we see some positive change.

You are very welcome, Craig.

This sounds like a political rant about the last election. For those voting to get Trump on his way out. We do need to be more accepting and compassionate as a whole.Yes there are surely a lot of investigations that need to end.
Keep writing

Hi Joan,
The description specifically said it's party neutral. When I'm ranting about Trump, it's likely to be obvious ;-)
Unfortunately, he's not the only crooked politician out there. I think most have some skeletons in their closet. This refers to many elected representatives, on a global level.
Cheers,
Craig

Yes, it did. There are a lot of people politicians and voters alike who want these investigations to end and a positive change to all the ranting on TV and social media from everyone involved.

This poem has used the word indagatin with examples from crime based political affairs where voting determines everything; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Your chosen artwork was perfect. I'm still enjoying your use of words from "The Cabinet of Linguistic Curiosities". I enjoy reading about your frustration with politicians. Still love the humor.
