This is a beautiful tribute to your brother Bill, I could feel the passion in your words and wish you luck with the contest, 'fourth of six and full of tricks' is how you remember him, very sweet, love Dolly x

This was great for a three line poem. It had rhyme and it made sense. Most three line poems do not. I will vote for this entry. Good luck in the contest.

-Nice image and presentation, Bill.
-The syllable count is good.
-A very nice tribute to your brother.
-The description is effective in
line two, and shows some of
his personality.
-I am sorry he is no longer
with you, but he is there
in spirit, and never forgotten.
-Good luck in the contest.

I had a brother named Robert. He's been dead awhile, too. He was the second oldest of five. I was/am the youngest. My oldest brother, Stephen, was 27 when he killed himself with a shotgun after returning home from Vietnam. My brother Danny, 19, died in a head-on collision with his VW on HWY 1 in CA. My brother Mike is estranged from me. I feel like the "Last of the Mohicans." Not that I'm Mohican. Just a reference to a book (I think?).

Nathanial Hawthorne. An American classic. I am the youngest as well. Bob had severe lung problems from every source. He died at sixty-nine. He was the rapscallion of the family. Thanks for giving this a peek, I?.

Yeah, my brother, Robert, was a rapscallion, too. He was a really mean bastard, but one of the smartest people I've ever known.

Oh, how I am so moved by this poem. It is very well illustrated. The few words say so much, and the middle line is so descriptive. Many blessings! Great work. Looking forward to reading much more.

My brother, also Robert, is gone too, but always in my heart. This is a very touching contest entry, I think it will do well in the contest. Good luck to you.

This speaks about the fourth of six brothers has gone, but he is never forgotten; his tricks are still remembered; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR
