Now, you are really reaching, Craig.... epistolisable... now say that three times, quickly .. hahah... good job teaching us about this heavily weighted word. All the best,
Melissa

Yes, my brain wasn't quite up to trying to fit it into a rhyming poem at that late hour, Melissa :) Many thanks, Craig

This is a great little write. It portrays wisdom and creativity . Though short, it flows well and states so much with its short but long message . The main points of this message is to let go share and be creative.

These infrequently used words are simply a delight - shame we don't call on their verbal splendour to occasionally adorn our communication - thanks for sharing

You got me with this one, not heard that word before, but you put it to good use in your short poem that spoke volumes here, I love writing letters and it is an art that has become extinct, love Dolly x

It has for me, just about. I used to write a lot of letters as a kid. Now, I write exactly one per year. Many thanks, Dolly :) Cheers, Craig

This is a cook pursuit of yours. I like it when people focus on quirky themes. It certainly breaks up the monotony of having to wade through poem after poem which focus on God, pets, or nature. To go beyond a set subject matter is--in my mind anyway--the very essence of creative writing.

I love this because I still believe in the weight of a message given through the good old-fashioned, paper and pen, handwritten letter. Snail mail. Well illustrated, and a perfect 5-7-5.

Hi Craig. Even at a young age, I treasured letters from my paternal grandmother. She was the only grandparent I actually met. She would leave Grandfather home and fly out from the East coast to visit us in Arizona and California. She was an artist and taught art at Rice Unobersity. I enjoyed writing to her also. Thank you for the memories and the new word. Thank you for sharing

That's one more grandparent than I met, Pam. Mine all died before I was born. I used to have "pen friends" as a child, and enjoying sending and receiving letters very much. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and for the kind review.

My sympathies. My maternal
Grandfather died before my mom was born. She hated her mom, so we never saw her. And my dad?s father died when we were little.

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem. When we have to say something or write something is better to make it worthwhile for the reader or listener than negativeity that does no good to anyone.
