Hi, nice to read a poem of yours today, and you never fail to give your reader different curiosities in your writing. I enjoyed this one and the publishing is very inviting when you open this window. That book that you got for a present was a wonderful gift. The gift that keeps on giving.
I noticed no errors and your information in the author notes was helpful. I don't ride in taxis. Well, I can't remember driving in one, perhaps I did, I don't know for sure, but I have no memory of it. but it sounds like I'm not missing out on much. There have always been cars around so there's been no need of taxis and to tell you the truth, I'd have to be desperate, I don't fancy getting into a car with a stranger.
Cheers, and thanks for sharing your poetry, Ana.

Thank you for the kind words, and for sharing your thoughts, Ana. It's been many years since I rode in a cab, although as a child, I used to do it quite a lot. I also used to hitch-hike frequently, even around age nine or ten, accepting lifts from total strangers. I think I'd die if one of my kids had ever done that... times change :) Cheers, Craig

Hi Craig. Butterboy makes me think of WW2 for some reason. Maybe is sounds like bugle. A taxicab we caught in New York took us on the scenic route from the airport to where we were staying. So he could make more money. We drove through a block party and went over the Queens bridge. Thank you for sharing

Yes, I've met a few cabbies like that too, Pam. By the sound of it, it could have been an expensive ride. Thanks for the fine review :) Craig
