This is fun and fresh. A lot of that going on these days. Since I am the corporate CEO of my family's business and going blind with a rare blindness, I have greatly adjusted my position. I am more of a figure head these days and devote myself to home life and writing. Sometimes, I get to sign the paychecks. Still, a real thrill. At least I have had time to make the needed adjustments! Inkyo, indeed. It's very humbling.
All my best to you and yours,
Sally

Thanks very much, Sally. I trust that you are more competent in your position than those who find themselves in Peters' crosshairs. Most grateful, Craig

A very well-written Tanka. When someone does a job that he is uncapable to to and just hang around for the month to pass so that he can get his paycheck, he can just as well go.

Yes the Peter Principle sounds more like a better option when a practical solution remains the only viable option. When persons got their positions through illicit ways, the lie will catch up on them. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Craig. I like your reference to the Peter principle. I have not heard that term in a long time. Matching it with your word inkyo was very clever and made this a fun read. Thanks for sharing with us.
