Comment from Gloria ....
Well scuddling is the predictable outcome of crapulence, yes? Cause and effect. I think dish washing should be done the old fashioned way, (providing you can't eat right out of the can) Is throw your dishes away or hide the evidence in the oven. ;-)
A most entertaining limerick and a job almost complete. :)

Plastic plates and cutlery, Gloria. The Pacific needs more islands :)
Many thanks for your constant support this past year, it is much appreciated.

Misunderstood, rightly, the environment, the story, the place, the state and character all placed and put in order for use and exemplification of the word; well said, well done. Keep Writing, Keep Inspiring. Happy New Year! -- DR ALCREATOR

The holidays bring scuddle duty! My, I am so glad we did it in shifts with my large family. I have two dish drawers (smaller dish washers) and still...pans piled high! It was a great Christmas, and worth the constant scuddle duty. I hope yours was, too!
All my best,
Sal :+)

My Christmas was very enjoyable, although the increase in scuddlery was negligible :) Thanks for the great comments, Sally. Happy New Year to you. Craig

A funny read, thank you, and I love your plan to use your Christmas present throughout the year as inspiration. Just one thought: perhaps this work should be listed as humour, rather than general, poetry as it will bring a smile and a chuckle every time.

I only have three days to go, so I guess the plan worked :)
Thanks for the kind comments, and the suggestion as well. I've changed the listing.
Most grateful,
Craig

Haha.... I like your fun limerick very much, Craig... what a great way to showcase this new word. I will tell my hubby I want him to scuddle and see what response I get... such fun - these new words you share. Well done, again.

I know the response I would get if I told my other half to do that (or anything) lol. I'm tempted to give it a try, but I quite like being able to see out of BOTH eyes. Thanks, Melissa :)

We have a dishwasher, Dolly. I'm it!
We don't have enough water to waste on such luxuries. They keep trying to tell me on TV ads that machines use less water than washing by hand, but I don't believe them.
Thanks for the great review :)
