A very interesting observation here, Sir Bill -- really like the concept you've presented in this little rhyme...although, I must say, the word mythistorical is a new one on me. :) ;) Yvette :)

I began this poem thinking I had just coined it, but found it already existed. Thank you, Yvette, for giving it a look. Bill

Hi Bill,
is is a bit of a tongue twister indeed.
The words are well chosen and blend into a clever poem.
Mythology and fantasy allow quite some artistic licence and you
have used these words well.
Blessings
Shirley

I love this word. The picture you chose certainly defines it. Arthur removing the sword from the stone. Great rhyming with difficult words. You should have saved this for a contest.

very clever, Mr Schott!
and I learned something. which is always good.
going to have to write those words down as I will never remember them.
Anyway, it was a fun, tongue-twister read.

This is a very lively, appealing, thought-provoking poem about myth and history. Interestingly, history books say the legendary King Arthur probably was based on a real hero named Arthur--from, perhaps, the Anglo-Saxon period ??

Think the closest they can get is Uther. I?m guessing he was a Roman. He served as an historical base for whatever family was ruling.

Love learning a new word. You set this up perfectly. The artwork highlighting the word and giving it visual definition. This is just wonderful and resonates with a word-lover!!

Hello Bill
Very cleaver this. CD Richards (of this site) does a similar series with words that catch his eye too.
If there is a meaning to the capitalization and bold font of "RE" on line four, you have lost me...perhaps you could add a note?
It takes courage to get phantasmagorical into a piece!
A good one.
Cheers
phill

Yes, I will add a note. I highlighted the syllable because the word needs to be a trochee to work well there.

That's really interesting, Bill. Do you know how you pronounce it? Myt- historical, or Myth -istorical, just wondered. :)) I like to know new words, it's quite exciting, isn't it? I'm a sad person, aren't I, lol. I like the rhyming too. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
