A fantasmical (that's the combination of the words "fantasy" and "magical", a word of my own creation), whimsical, dream-like piece that employs not only excellent imagery but a very uniquely constructed rhyme scheme as well.

Good luck Yvette in the Share a Story in a Poem contest. This was easy to read and rather enjoyable with a fantastic rhyme pattern to it. I happen to like Neverland, it is both wonderful and amazing. I liked your narrative note about stress. Well done.

Wow - you humble me, PD. I was certainly not expecting those beautiful stars but I am so very thankful for them!! :) ;) I am glad my crazy imagination resonated with you -- love it when something I manage to scrawl on my scratch paper carries meaning beyond myself. :) ;) I cannot compose poems on the computer...edit them? sure, but I have to write them with a pencil and paper .... and NOT at my desk. I love to be on the front porch when it's warmer, but right now, I sit inside near one of the big windows. I use the backs of the 'cast off' printer paper from school work...gotta put that #$%@&% to good work somehow -- LOL! :) ;) Thank you again for your wonderful words, sir -- they truly mean a lot! ;) ;) MD

you deserve it, your poem is awesome, I have to write with pen and paper too, a couple I've done on Word seem hollow.

I thought that was a girly fairy - different! Fantasy can be a lot of fun, especially when reality sucks. I like this a lot and enjoyed every word. Who knew a rocket scientist had such an imagination!
