This is absolutely charming, Sally. You selected your words carefully, keeping the reader engrossed in your protagonist's emotions and thoughts.
I like the format you chose to write this - letter form - it kept the storyline immediate. And last, but not least, it just drips with good old fashioned, heart warming happiness. Hugs, Lou

This is labeled fiction, but it could actually be a reality for someone. The thought of a wonderful secret admirer is a warm fuzzy to hold close to one's heart. I totally enjoyed reading this, my friend!

Hi Sally, this is a great story being unfolded. So there's a secret admirer who combines roses and lavender with a touching love note. And you respond that you too love him even without seeing him? That's blind love. Whatever his looks might be I hope he is of a great virtuous character. You are guessing who he might be, right?
Best

Well, he did leave her a rose tied with lavender on the computer. Be patient, dearest, it?s coming . . . .
So glad you like. Did you notice your cameo role as nurse Yvette? Hugs,
Sal :+))

Well that was very entertaining. The touch of mystery and intrigue in your story is fun. I like the mention of lavender too. Very well written and hopefully will get a response from who you wrote it to back soon if nonfiction. :)

This is fiction and a back and forth love story within two letter writing lovers. Love Letter on a Clipboard is his, and To My Secret Admirer is hers, Kristin Spencer?s. These two will run in tandem until Christmas Eve Eve. I?m glad you enjoyed this. Sending you my best today as always,

Hello and a wonderful Wednesday to you Sally. I enjoyed your romantic story. Takes me back to when I was a kid and I was writing little love notes to girls. I wasn't as lucky as to get a response like that back though. Good job!

I think adults have more to offer and hopefully these two won?t waste much time getting together. I?ll speak to the writer. Thanks so much for the wonderful review and gracious stars. It is always so appreciated.

Hi Sally,
I didn't write this love letter. I need to make this perfectly clear. I've been married for 44 years, and I'd never break my vows. Sure, I find you attractive, but it's just too late in life for such a big change. LOL!
Nicely penned! But don't be too eager, my dear. Not everyone is as handsome as me, or your husband (for that matter). Leave some mystery there. Hold back. Love is just a game, you know.
Your letter reminded me of a black missionary (actually from Africa) who came to our church years ago. He was telling us how he received a letter from his (future) wife when they began their courtship. They had never actually met each other. He'd read the letter over and over, every chance he got, until the pages began to fray. And then he began to tell us about God's love letter, the Bible. And how we could read it the same way. It was interesting.
There was one spot, a word, that seemed out of place.
"I can wait a little longer for your reveal-- "
"reveal" doesn't seem to fit, the verb as a noun. Can I suggest a few other words? ... debut, appearing, grand entrance, unveiling
Cheers,
Kimbob

I, too, have been married 44 years to my husband Jackson. Our wedding anniversary is in December. Congratulations to you and your wife. That?s a marvelous achievement. I appreciate the excellent review and critique and I will change that word right now. Reveal is a big word right now in the states for some reason. I think unveiling is better here. Thank you, again. I really appreciate it.
Sending you my best today as always,

A lovely response, and of course I'm looking forward to finding out who wrote the original letter. It might be someone she knows well... or not.
There's a missing words- see below.

What a sweet little story this is. I'm glad she finally found her love. It sounds like she needs it.

My copy editor suggested I changed that to a semicolon, so I did. :+) I originally had a comma there. Thank you for the excellent review and kind compliments. It?s always so appreciated, dear Debbie. Sending you my best today as always,

A stranger with no identity sends her a love letter and that's all it takes to win her heart? This is a desperate woman! What if he's short, fat, and ugly? Could she make love to him then? There must be a physical attraction, and she has not seen him, so yes, she IS desperate. I hope they are happy together. :)

You?ll see I?m the days ahead as their love letters flow between the two of them, creating a special bond. My husband and I know of this bond. Stay tuned.
Thanks so much for the kind review and comments, Phyllis.
