Our church is in prayer for Australia as I believe everyone in the world has your area always on their thoughts. This is truly a unique piece of work an I believe covers the hopes and fears of everyone.

The devastation is horrid and frightening. Kahpot how good to see you again but with such a tragedy. It is encouraging when people from around the world to fight the deadly flames.

This is such a great tragedy with loss of life and untold damage to the forests and bush land. Your poem is real and hard hitting and I have sympathy for your country. The flames were fanned by the heat and spread quickly. A sad and poignant write, love Dolly x

A very well-written heartfelt poem about the devastating fires in Australia that brought many to their knees in prayer for a country in deep distress. I am pleased to hear you are safe despite all the devastation.

It is horrifying to see the effect of the devastating fires there. I hope you are staying safe and have some way of purifying the air or wearing masks. Your poem describes it all so very well and moves our hearts.
"fuelling their power from lifes perspiration" (life's)
"darkening our future with pure devestation (devastation)
inflaming it's terror, gaoling the fleeing (its)
"standing back to back at the salt waters edge" (water's or waters')
