We need to make sure we keep some compassion in our hearts for those suffering just now and know that we are all responsible for each other in life, a fine poem for the contest, love Dolly x

Than you Dolly, There is nothing wrong with compassion but sometimes we take advantage of the compassion of others and bring them down without really making ourselves feel better. We need to focus on the things that aren't wrong in our lives.

To my surprise, I find all my sixes are gone and I'd planned to give this poem one. It is nicely done in every respect and well presented too. I'm sure it will do well in this contest. I thought the last two lines were especially remarkable. Six virtual stars for you ****** MM

I read this twice, to get the meaning and the effect, and am glad I did. While we know we are a collective, it still seems unfair that we, as individuals, suffer for the actions of others, and for the sins of our forefathers. But suffer we do, and yes, if we could know the truth from the silent ones, would we trade our pain for theirs? There may not be an answer to that question.
I really enjoyed this free style poem, and think your words expressed human suffering, as a whole, and as an individual. Good luck!

Great imagery and message here. Superb artistic presentation, picture, font and flow.
We suffer, one and all, but not the same.
Our sojourn on the planet is a test.
Anguish is not dish designed to dispense with friends.
Endurance till the end is an enigma.
Excellent entry in the Human Suffering contest, good luck in the booths!
