That's not a sad poem... it's TRAGIC. We are missing out on so much 'normal' life with not being able to go to see sports; putting this through the viewpoint of a neglected ball is a refreshing approach.

Nice poem, I enjoyed reading it. It flows well and has a nice feel to it. I Think there is a deeper meaning here but it's a mystery. I also like the picture that goes with it. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day

Absolutely love it. The pandemic has changed our lives and many things we have enjoyed doing has been drastically affected. I love the way your one line poem makes that point!

This is certainly topical and sad for all sports fans. Your illustration, of course, pairs perfectly and sets the stage for your words. This is saying a lot in one line. Nicely done.

Great ekphrastic offering for the contest here - says so much with just the one line! ;) :) I would only suggest the use of, perhaps, one size smaller on the font just so it fits on 'one line'... ;) :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)
