This is a sweet poem and well-written. I could see everything you mentioned, Aussie. The main point I take away form this is the love of the mother for her son and the love Jesus has for everything. Your picture is so perfect and adorable. Your lines flow smoothly with good rhymes and the imagery I stated.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

What a wonderful picture. We had this experience twice in the years we had horses. It is a wonderful thing to see and then to watch as the colt investigates everything that catches his eyes. No fillies for us, Colts each time, but we were very happy! Well done Kaye. Nancy:)

Hello Nancy, Long time no see? Hope all is well. You never forget the birth of a foal. I don't blame you for no fillies! Nice to see you. Blessings, Kay. xx

This was beautiful, Kace. The last stanza truly said it all, didn't it? It is all about nature's love, a mother's love. You chose a wonderful picture that captured the moment, in fact one can see the love in the mare's face.

So beautiful! And so moving. A birth always is, as you so aptly describe:New birth, new life, forever dawn. You pictured it all so perfectly that I felt myself a witness, standing there, being part of the wonder. Thank you, Lord, for a new life.

Such a beautiful and uplifting tribute to motherhood! In this time of pandemic and protests, it is refreshing to focus on the natural love of a mother and her young one. Despite the surrounding chaos caused by man, we can still have hope that the cycle of life will continue. Thank you for the reminder.

What a wonderful poem (story). I hope that you got to witness this wonderful event. I've never seen a foal being born, but once I got to see one trying to stand for the first time. I'll never forget that moment. It made a tear in my eye, too.
I like how you tie the birth of the foal to all births. New life is a miracle. Nothing else in life can even compare. I love your last line, particularly your reference to forever dawn.
This is a nice poem. I am so glad that I read it on this dreary day.
