I love night skies and when they are filled with stars - they are exceptionally beautiful to view.

Hello Mystery Writer,
I so love the tone and mood of your Etheree offering as well as the subject matter. How I love to gaze at the night's sky.
One note: In the following line, the subject 'soul,' is not in agreement with the verb, 'pass.' As such the line should read, "whose soul passes ..."
That won't work re: syllabic requirements. But the line could be edited such as "whose soul passes there from east to west."
Just an observation not intended to offend or appear pompous.

Enjoyed reading this contemplative and somewhat melancholic view of the meteor. Viewing the vastness of night sky, one can't help but wonder if events are seen by "more than me?" Best wishes in the contest!

A wonderful entry for the Etheree writing prompt contest. I really like this poetic form. Good syllable count and connection between lines. I like the stars imagery and metaphor. Good luck in the contest.

Oh I am just so amazed on how the Etheree poetry was written. The message was clearly conveyed considering that you have to be very cautious with syllables per line.

I like this poem both visually and verbally. Yes. we all wondered why and what are falling when seeing a shooting star. Does have deeper meaning? It is the mystery of the universe.

Excellent contest entry. I found the metaphor of a falling star and a soul passing to be thought-provoking - how many people have passed away alone and unseen in their last moments because of the current virus fear?

This etheree, Star Falling, has the proper one to ten syllable formatting and muses over this falling star's implications for the orderly transfer of souls across the universe.
