This is such a lovely poem about Christmas and grandchildren. The title is great and the art work is so true. Christmas is nice with the gifts under the tree, but the true gift of Christmas was the birth of Jesus. Great rhyming in your poem also. Yes, grandchild eyes pop when they see the gifts under the Christmas tree. But, as parents and grandparents, sharing the real reason for the season is our gift to them. Nicely written.

since I joined FS about 18 months ago, I have posted 230 poems. I do write everyday, while I am far more comfortable in free verse style I risk most challenges and have taken, much needed, meter and sonnet writing classes. Retirement and Covid are excuse. LOL
