This is wonderfully written. It flows very nicely, and you get a deep insight to the goals you have and things you're planning for, longing to see brought to reality. I hope this year you find all those things and much, much more. Thanks for sharing.

My dear friend, try to imagine a time in your life where the struggle to breathe and care for your daily needs will be as easy as taking and unimpeded breath. Think of a time when the vigor and vitality of a fit 18 year old will be yours, where no man or animal will threaten you in any way no matter where you may journey. God's word the Bible promises a day when all of this will take place. It is a guarantee from someone who has never failed to make each promise come true. Wait for it and it will surely come. Even if death overtakes you before it can happen, you will be recalled from the grave so that you will be able to enjoy the fulfillment of this sacred promise.

Hello JJ, tomorrow is Chinese New Year, so you can start your New Year's resolution and goal list all over again...something to think about--I'm just saying. Lol. Your poem reads and flows well and your list of goals is admirable.
I especially liked:
To find a home among trees that breathe
To find a faith where I can believe
To find a caregiver who never wants to leave
(Don't be too hard on yourself. Nothing is forever. I also liked
a home among trees that breathe--nice, refreshing, relaxing.)
A poem of thought. Good luck with the knees. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

You have created a poem that touches the soul. I especially like your line about having caregivers that never leave, it shows how important caregivers are. Excellent theme and use of words that shows a human journey.

This was so well written. I love your goals, each obviously means a lot to you.
Goals to travel seeing faraway places
To heal my knees in hard to reach spaces
To find a home among trees that breathe
To find a faith where I can believe
To find a caregiver who never wants to leave
I can totally relate to the part about the knees. I wish there was a place on earth where they knew the answer (lol).
Thoroughly enjoyed that one, thanks for sharing!

Another beautiful and moving piece. I was particularly taken with the lines
"I want to live not always dying
Always at my best, and always trying."
You seem to be living up to your goals of living your life and always trying. You might add "never complaining" for, while you may express your grievances, you do so in an explanatory way, never as complaint or self-pity.
I was concerned when I read the line "To find a caregiver who never wants to leave." You've always said how much you liked your current caregivers. Are they no longer with you?

-Nice artwork and presentation, Jesse.
-Your note is appreciated.
-A good poem that shows some of your concerns.
-Effective examples and comparison with a kaleidoscope and rhyme.
-I can understand how you have all of these goals in mind, considering
everything you have been through, but you are making progress, even
though it might seem slow at times.
-With physical healing comes spiritual healing and well being.
-I think when we aren't ourselves physically, it impacts our thinking.
-Keep working toward those goals, and you never know how many you can achieve.
-I'm sure many people can relate to this, too.
-Have a great day and week ahead.

Thank you, Pam, for this expertly detailed and comprehensive review! You always cover every part of the post from the presentation to the meanings behind the message. I always look forward to your reviews yet never know quite what to say to you as well. I wish I always had a reviewer's contest nomination vote to give you but I have run out of them earlier this month. You are thoughtful and kind with your reviews and I thank you so very much for this one in particular as you seem to see right through where I am coming from. Yes, physical limitations affect the mind as well as the spirit in a person. I am definitely a testament to that.
Have a wonderful Tuesday, my friend!

You are very welcome, Jesse, and I always appreciate your replies. You don't have to worry about what you say because it is always about what you get out of something that counts.
