Beautiful job with your free verse, Jim! Enjoyed your spiritual meditation about the healing of the Lord's Hands and the enabling of our own hands to live and to praise the Creator of our hands.

You did a great job with your free verse club response. I enjoyed reading it. I like the art you paired with your well thought out poem. In all verses, there is the reality of God as the creator. I like how each 'hands' theme received its own verse.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

I like this poem. It has a nice flow and a nice story. It gives glory to God, the best thing of all. I think it should be capitalized at the beginning of lines though.

I understand this as it touches the soul of man. Deep in the heart of reality, life is forever a changing source with step by step into the serenity of Christ. I am 83 and live day by day in Him.

Great commentary on hands, well-written and a pleasure to read. Thankfully for those nail-scarred hands of our Saviour and for the hands of our friends and family who have been there for us through the years.

Very well done. That last paragraph is excellent.
Hands that can turn into fists
And fight for the freedom that was so hard won.
Hands that wipe away the tears
That are shed for the lives lost in that conflict.
