Well, this was another well written chapter for the story. That Pat is beyond repair. He's horrible. Good on Ali to show him the cards. I can't wait to be reading on Ulla:)))

Well done on this chapter. Looks like Ali is more than a "Quiet Lawyer" and really knows what she is doing. I am sure a lot of women in the town will be singing her praises.

They will. I can promise more will come. Thank you for the kind review. Ali is only quiet when it comes to personal relationships.

What is Mexican street corn? You made me hungry for tonight's supper. I see how you are. Interesting story. I see nothing wrong with it. As usual, you keep the reader's attention. Good one, Barb.

Thank you for the kind review. Mexican street corn is salty, sweet, crunchy, and creamy in every bite. It hits all the right flavor notes, especially hot off the grill in the summer months when fresh corn is at its peak and abundantly available at every market. It's a popular street food in Mexico and can be served as a snack or side dish.

Wow, this chapter was a "Me Too" moment. LOL Sounds like Pat is headed for a cell next to Weinstein. (and I don't think I spell that name correctly)
Great stuff, Barbara.
Um, Mexican street corn and Tres Leches cupcakes. Sounds tasty...did you make these up?

No, I didn't make them up. They are real Mexican food and taste great. I've eaten both numerous times. Thank you for the encouraging review.

I really enjoying your story. I like that Alexander is seeing that Pat is getting what he deserves. She very bold for a quiet lawyer. I've lived in county town and cities too so you are correct about small town people being willing to share. You made we want to try some of the Mexican street corn.

Bravo!!! I loved this chapter!! Wait till Cordero hears about this. I'm thinking Ali should start up her own practice there is that town, it's obvious they need her there. This was a really well written story, and very well played out. I'm smiling big time at Ali's part in bringing this slime ball down. Well done, Barbara. :)) Sandra xxx
