Wow, you had me going with your smart remarks to the hussy near your husband!
A red-headed woman you surely are no doubt.
This was wonderfully entertaining and full proof as far as any mistakes you may have made. I enjoyed this immensely and am looking forward to much more in the future.
Mellowing you have accomplished is still a work in progress I believe.
The same here, I am mellow to a point and then I can be full of steam when I get riled.

Hey, girl. Man, it's a really good thing we don't know each other in person. hahahaha!! I am POSITIVE I would be setting you on fire pretty regular. Not intentional, of course. Just my nature. I'm a touchy, huggy, lovey person -- and since I really don't have a jealous bone in my body -- it's hard for me to grasp that. Oops! But then - my guy and I have been together for over 30 years and I have ABSOLUTE confidence in him - I know I have no reason to worry. Ever. Which wasn't the case with my first one, actually. Ick.

1.) I HAVE a friend just like you, who's huggy and demonstrative and also puts her foot in her mouth a lot. Also like you, she is respectful and funny as can be, and we spend so much of our time together laughing like fools. So I doubt you would be setting me on fire. (And, just for the record, I don't have a worry in the world about Bobby. I think it's the teacher in me that feels the need to nip poor behavior in the bud from grown-ups when they should one hundred percent know better.)

I think what you DO is wonderful and must not only be fun, but also very rewarding. Music and dance - not to mention choreographing, what a wonderful life's work. It seems to me you have grace, beauty, talent and success. Bravo for you!

No, I understood your reactions to comments made to you - let me just say that I am quite a bit older than you and was never a "spitfire." :( I was also never a goodie-two-shoes, just brought up in a different era in the deep South so I guess you could say I appreciate your post but was more interested in your many accomplishments and wanted to comment on them.

Oh, please don't mellow on us. It's your fire that I love so much. It's such a rare, refreshing commodity.
I'm not worried though. Even if you have mellowed a little, it's just fresh fodder that you are throwing onto the flames.
I have missed your book and want to be the first purchaser. I hope you have been writing in your hiatus and have much to offer us.
