I think that's what I like best about your writing, you don't leave anything out. I can follow along and never get lost, and for me that's a miracle. Thanks for sharing and have a Wonderful Holiday!

Comment from Pam Lonsdale
I sure wish I had a six for this. It is engaging and well-told. I was confused by "the boys" ages at first, imagining them as very young, but clearly, age is only a number and irrelevant in this story. It is timeless, as is Santa.
But Santa is finally succumbing to the effects of aging, like the rest of us, and it sounds as though he has many demons he needs to come to grips with.
I look forward to hearing Ajdin's story.
This is truly a Christmas story and I think it will do well in the contest.
The sentence that begins "Nummm" - and BEGAN jumping about

Oh, your words are far more important to me than a six, dear Pam! I think you'll enjoy Ajdin's story, but don't look for it until probably the first week of January (after the fantasy of Santa has worn off). It will take me that long to garner enough funny-money to get it up onto first page.
Again, thank you! Oh ... OH! And for the grammar error. I changed the sentence structure which would have retained the present tense "begins", but got too much in a hurry and didn't catch the verb change. I'm so happy you did!

Ha! I knew Santa was the male equivalent of a ho ho ho, LOL! I always knew he couldn't be trusted coming down those chimneys after midnight. And I bet half the kiddies he's bringing toys to are really his.
Ok, enough joking around. Again, Mr. Jay, you dazzle me with your imagination. This was very creative and a great read. I have Fanstory money to earn, and a lot of reading ahead of me. So, I'm not checking for grammar unless it jumps out at me. And this is really long. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings and Merry Christmas.

Thank you so much, Amahra. Your six was out of this world. I wasn't expecting any this late in the week. I don't think there were grammar problems. I just have to figure out why he's becoming disoriented.

This is interesting. Santa apparently has a son and grandsons and he may not remember his son's mother, Jazmin. His wife knew he strayed but fully accepts his son as her son. That's a woman with a big heart, perfect as Santa's mate. But what is going on about him getting confused? Looking forward to the next episode and, I hope, finding out what is going on.

Thank you, Carol. I hope to find out what's confusing Santa as well. I hope that Ajdin can help us both out. It is only going to be one more Part and probably won't post until long after Christmas is a memory.

Have a great a Christmas and a lovely new year.

It was very long but I liked all the details in this. Your descriptions made it seem like I was watching a movie. The relationship between the father and sons. Waiting for part two. Great job. Gretchen

Yes, it was long. My nemesis, I'm afraid. Thanks for reading it.

You have quite the imagination. This is the strangest Christmas story I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It is written skillfully and deserves six stars. Best of luck in the contest.

So Santa was a player. And if that's not bad enough, he married the church and then 'divorced' it. Now, he had to sort out his children. Maybe his final job- that of teaching elves how to make toys so he can distribute them easily among children who may or may not know who their daddy is. Smile...

Haha, you're hitting Santa below the belt. Thank you for the six stars. I don't know how you manage to keep them after the weekend. I rarely do.
