A most interesting poem on the topic of reflections. The memory is still there, intact, but time makes it less accessible. I do like the second last stanza, considering the light's reflections on the waves, which prompted your awareness about the role of time. Nice.

Your free verse poem is a fine reflection on reflections. And yes, some memories are dimmer and others at times can "beam like 10,000-candela light of the coastal lighthouse." It all depends on the moment...

A lovely free verse for the reflections challenge,JLR. I like the way you've used reflections of the past and the reflections of the sunrise in the rippling waters. Well done, cheers

You did a great job with your club response, JLR. The
art choice was a special addition. Your words were well-
chosen to reflect the theme. They flowed smoothly, too.
Your last verse was very meaningful about time moving
forward, but your memories remaining intact.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Really devine imagery used here to describe and compare the passage of time on memory and perception of memories. Lovely word painting: robust lustre and billowing clouds! I enjoyed your poetic thoughts! A few small typos "sun(')s light" , "a(n) experience ", "light(s) of the.."

This is a well done poem using repetition and metaphor to remind us memories seem to fade sometimes to be remembered more intensely at another time.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Happy New Years
