I was pleased to find this poem, with its unusual subject, as I have recently started working with clay myself, although the only ones to benefit from my lumpy little efforts to date have been the budgerigars next door. Well done with the looping.

Julie, thank you. I have just made it to my first gallery show in August. I have been doing pottery for two years. I love the wheel myself, and those lumpy little efforts with practice start coming alive, so make 20 bowls, then 20 more, and you will be on your way!

This piece makes me want to try to write my own loop poetry. It's just so fun and I love the subject you chose. The repetition really shows how every pot is a new element of the potter's growing experience. It shows the act of constant creation. Well done.
