Are you a shard of glass or a sharp piece of shell?
This was well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
Thanks for sharing and always enjoy the sea.

First, congratulations on your recognized writer award! So well deserved, my talented friend. Now, this is exceptional as all your poetry is and beautiful with soul and spirit. I love sea glass, because it's so unique and my kind of diamonds. Sending you my best today as always, and six ******star fish to bless you TODAY!

Of course, a bottle is basically made by the very substance that is refining and shaping its substance, glass is very hard, so we can imagine that the sandstone rocks will bow to the sculpting will of the wind and waves, which are another factor in their own right, beautifully written Jessica, , blessings Roy

I think we all have our sharp edges smoothed by our experiences over time as our opinion mellows and we become enriched with wisdom moulded over time, I enjoyed the metaphor here Jessica, a clever free-write, love Dolly x x x

Hi, Jessica and congratulations on your recent award.

This is an excellent piece reliant on the extended personification/metaphor of the sea glass representing of course a person who has been tried in the great maelstrom of life and come through softened and improved, all jagged edges removed.

The fact that I can relate this to my own life serves to illustrate its truth.

Lovely analogy in this poem as it meanders beautifully from tribulations through to salvation.
This is lovely

'Each storm
teaches a lesson
as I am carried
to the sand.'

This is a very well written form with a very powerful and poignant message. I am sure all of us have had those times when we felt like we were being thrown out into the sea, and being tossed about in the waves and found ourselves on the sand. Patricia
