For a busy woman, you posted a wonderful continuation of your story. I'm still straining to post Chapter 5 of my novel if I ever get it done. Thank you for staying well and I'd like to see more sparks between Noah and Sami.

I'll try and keep on writing.

It must be hard to separate Noah's feelings for Sami as personal and professional, especially trying to keep her safe. It's hard for Sami too. I hope her mother is okay.
Well done.
Gypsy
Another wonderful chapter.

Noah is struggling with the feelings. Thank you for the kind review.

Noah seems to be getting in good with Sami's mom and dad as well, as he bends the rules a bit to let her visit her mom. He is definitely the hero, she the damsel in distress, needing rescue. His attention to her needs, even drawing him out of protocol, gives us the feeling he is falling for her but his somewhat stiff dialogue means he is trying to be careful about showing too much affection publicly. It almost is starting to feel like he is torn between his job and career and his feelings for Sami. Still hanging over all this is the unresolved situation with Chen. estory

Noah will remain torn between the two for awhile. Thank you for the kind review.

I like that we saw a different side of all of them. The mix of family and law enforcement showed their human side. The one where the heart makes decisions not the head. Good chapter. Wasn't expecting this at all. Gretchen

Thank you for the kind revie. I needed it. A reviewer questioned if it moved the novel along, I thought so, but began questioning it.

I feel like if a chapter shows different facets of a character, it makes it more real. You don't need action every single chapter. I enjoyed it. Gretchen

I'm glad to see you're back full time. I have been away visiting my family in Denmark and have been busy catching up. I'm posting another installment of my visit and then next week it's back to my book.
It was a great chapter and I'm glad she got the chance to seeing her mother. Ulla xcx

Glad to see you made it home safely and I hope had a wonderful time. The story is moving forward with the relationship growing faster than probably Noah is ready to concede to, but that's love. Great job!
She definitely keep things interesting." (keeps)

I was surprised at seeing you post while on vacation. As always, its a good one. Left toward knowing more about these two. No doubt romance is budding.

I've been in the position before and it's tough. Not knowing what is going on and being terrified! Oof, I felt this! Great entry here. Keep up the good work!

Well, this is a well written and nice chapter. These things do happen in life and people have to deal with them. Better with support as seen here.
Now, I know you and your fans enjoy these humanistic events in your stories, but do they advance the plot? Is the plot even central to many of these chapters?

Yes, they do advance the plot because it works on Noah and Sami getting closer. Thank you for the kind review.

THis is good chapter. I'm glad the accident Sami's mother had wasn't that serious. Noah shows he really cares about Sami. I watched a movie on Amazon Prime yesterday on human trafficing. I think it was called Priceless. It was about young pretty Mexican girls beinig transported across the border in trucks for sex purposes and they thought the would be working as maids. It was a good movie.
