There is a party feeling in your words. I enjoyed reading your poem, it is like having a good time. Excellent use of words and a smooth poetic flow with an almost musical feel to it.

Well, thank you mermaids! I wrote this during the 70's during Disco. So, I just recently presented it. I guess it could be a song. Thank you for your review!

Sounds like a great party. I almost feel like I am there myself putting a few beers back nd listening to the music play. You did a great job. It had a slow but steady pace and near the end I swear I I felt like I had a buzz.

This is all very lyrical and could well be the words to a song. You skilfully capture the atmosphere, the wildness and the sexual thrill of Saturday night and make me mourn the good old days:)) Well done, Harry! Debbie

I think this has potential as lyrics to a song. The repetition is there and just needs some tweaks. I would put a chorus in it. You have a good start or plot line.

sorta took me back to the eighties when life seemed so simple and straightforward. I know this scene, hell I think I may have been a player in this story:>)
Your story poem had a very lyrical tone to it... and with a hook and chorus could easily be turned into a song in my opinion.

I guess she is being nice to guys she meets and in this poem is perfect for her date night. The stanzas are creative and I enjoy it because of the girl. Excellent work! Nice.
