Blessings as curses, curses as blessings. I get so confused. The extent of my ability to comprehend has now been abused. I am not sure which one I'd prefer. I fear I would hide myself somewhere away until after the day this event would occur. For you must know as well as I, that some would be expecting the birthday boy to do something incredible or dastardly, depending upon which way he would trend, and for every year of his life he would probably pray for it to end.

Thank you for sharing this birthday tribute, Debi! I've grown so fond of Eean! He's remarkably talented and, as you say, has a dark sense of humour which I love. And, yes, I've noticed a modesty that I can't seem to break down because he deserves to be so proud, his work always standing out for me. I didn't know about his singing. No wonder he has a love of words and writes with such emotion and insight.

John, I am too tired for answering many reviews tonight, but I came looking for you to say I hope you had a great Christmas and to thank you for ALWAYS the most encouraging reviews and special words, that make the poem even more special.
