Hi Roy,
This is a well done poem that defines the kind of love God has for us and that we should have for all others.
Could you please pray for my sister and our family, my brother-in-law died in his sleep Friday night.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Joan

Thank you Roy for an important poem that asks the question, are you prejudiced in your opinion towards others. It doesn't matter what the differences are, does it? Well said, my friend.

This is a really emotive piece that describes well God's love for us all, we are all his children and he'll always welcome us back into his fold. A well written piece, Roy, I enjoyed reading it.

First line verse three, I think 'wore' should be 'were.' Another great example of a Roy Owen life message. I hope 2025 continues to bring on three or four new poems every week from my favorite South Australian poet.

Roy,
This is one of the best poems you've written. I love the repeating stanzas, and the priceless message. It makes me think God does love me, despite any illness or albatros.
Note: in the second to the last stanza, should you're poem read: if I "were" homeless.
Nonetheless this poem deserves six stars for its timeless message.
Blessings,
Best wishes,
Cindy

The fact is, no ordinary human being can love the way our God does, unconditionally and without the judgment we deserve. He loves the unlovely and the unlovable, and offers His own life for the redemption of each one not deserved by any of us. Well said.

Roy, this is a profound poem, my friend!! You so eloquently present several scenarios for us to think about. What a good point about our ability show unconditional love, love like God gives us.

Once more, you strike a chord in my heart. I wish I had a six for you, my friend!!

Happy New Year,
Rhonda

Thank you for sharing that work. It's hard to understand as we walk through life the amount of disconnect we have between our between the words we use to convince the next guy that we don't see through scope of hatred and the amount of prejudice, sexist and classism. The scope that you set up to read people of their blinders so that they consider what the lords scope must be is an extremely effective tool. Love it
