I really enjoyed this chapter. You are giving flesh and bones to your characters and the story is flowing well. Trying to start over can surely be hard after experiencing domestic abuse. Good job..

Oh Barbara you brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes I think I am Anna in your story except that I could not have children. Just like I was, she is too scared to accept that good things can happen...scared in case the bubble bursts!!! A great descriptive write once again my dear friend. Hugs and smiles, Cynthia xxx

Another well written post, Barbara. Troy's concern is hard to miss, but he's being very good about staying away. I like the relationship that's developing between Michael and Troy's parents. They're good people. :) Nancy

You done very good to have struggled I really enjoyed reading your story.So far I seem to be keeping up I have had to slow down soon I am having trouble with my arm I think I am writing to much.Your story has good dialogue and characters.I would recommend it to others.Blessings Rita

Strong foreshadowing of the future connection between Troy's parents and Michael. Storyline is running smooth and is seemless. Good job maintaining interest level with the addition of the apartment, the money, the car, etc. Makes me want to read the next chapter. Great! td

Hello. I didn't see anything to nit-pick about. The story moved a long nicely, though it seems these people who don't even really know this woman are overly generous. So, where do we find people like this? Just curious. I want them to adopt me.
